Nursery

BBPL manages its forest resources on a recycle basis, first clear felling the forest followed by plantation with saplings that are raised in its own nurseries. The seedlings are raised in the company’s nursery spread over 3 acres of land located at Darla. Beginning 2021, the company started raising commercial fodder species for supply to Agro-farms. The company earned a revenue of over Nu.120,000 from sale of commercial species to M/s Green Bhutan, Regional Cattle Breeding Centre at Wangkha and local residents of Darla at Nu.15/-per sapling.

The management will continue to explore markets and expand the nursery operations.
